Keli can be seen weeknights on WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News at 6, 6:30 and 10. Before her return home to West Tennessee in January of 2008, Keli’s news career took her across the country. She has worked as a reporter in both Seattle, Wa., and Oklahoma City, Okla., where she has covered major news-making events ranging from the eruption of Mount St. Helens to the execution of Timothy McVeigh to the Space Shuttle Columbia tragedy. Keli’s first job in news was right here at 7 Eyewitness News when she was hired right after graduating from Union University. (Go Bulldogs!) Throughout her career, Keli has been recognized for her work on and off air and remains active in the West Tennessee community by volunteering through various groups including the Jackson Exchange Club, RIFA and the Jackson Arts Council. Keli is a transplant Tennessean. She grew up in Ripley, Miss., where her family still lives. She currently makes her home in Jackson. If you have a story idea or question, you can email Keli at firstname.lastname@example.org or like her on Facebook for updates.
