New summer program to operate at Nova Elementary
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A new program will soon be available to kids in Madison County this summer.
County officials say they’re working with the Jackson-Madison County School System to allow access to the facility. This will allow them to have programs all day for kids ages 6 to 12.
“This way we’ll be able to have it all day every day and give working parents especially a space to bring their kids during the summer for childcare programs,” said Ed Smith, executive director for Madison County Parks and Recreation.
Applications for those interested in working this summer are available through the Madison County Parks and Recreation Office. This camp is expected to cost about $35 a week per child.
