Postal inspectors offer $50K reward in Spring Creek Post Office robbery

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Postal inspectors are offering a cash reward of up to $50,000 in their efforts to solve a November armed robbery at the Spring Creek Post Office.

postoffice8.jpgThe U.S. Postal Inspection Office is offering the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect who robbed the post office at gunpoint on Nov. 23.

The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion between 16 and 22 years old, according to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. He is said to be between five feet eight inches and six feet tall and to weigh around 145 to 160 pounds with a skinny build.

He reportedly did not have facial hair and was wearing a sky-blue ball cap, a black zip-up jacket and black pants.

The suspect fled on foot westbound from the post office.
