Police seek to ID man in armed robbery of Jackson gas station

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police ask for public input as they try to identify a man they say robbed a convenience store at gunpoint.

The robbery took place just before 8 a.m. Monday at Horizon, located at 340 Parkstone Place, according to a release from the Jackson Police Department.

The suspect was armed with a handgun and robbed the clerk of an undetermined amount of money, according to the release.

Police describe the suspect as a black man with a medium complexion standing about six feet four inches tall with a slim build. They say he was clean cut, in his mid-twenties and wearing a gray toboggan, black bubble jacket, dark colored t-shirt, and sweatpants with a stripe on the leg.
