UPDATE: THP identifies man killed in Bradford crash
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol has identified a man killed Tuesday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash in Bradford.
Moore was driving a Chevy Impala westbound when the vehicle exited the left side of the roadway, struck a tree and overturned, according to the report.
A tow service gathered pieces of the car Moore was driving.
Witness, Brien Lewis said “I think it had been happened when i pulled up as the wrecker was there to load it up and there was just probably about 5 or 6 THP officers different vehicles here.”
Troopers say it happened along highway 105 between Bradford and Skullbone.
Lewis said he was passing through the area as the accident unfolded. “Horrendous. It was pretty bad he must have been flying.”
Shattered glass, and car pieces still litter the side of the highway, damage can also be seen to a gate near the accident. Lewis said he’s shocked that something like that happened in that part of town.
“This is actually a real safe road.” Lewis said. “Not really major accidents out here. That was very unexpected.”
Troopers said no one else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash. The report also said Moore was not wearing a seat belt.
