Man Dies After Bar Fight

Charges have been upgraded against three Union City men charged in a bar fight from Monday, after the man they fought died, Friday.  According to Union City police, David Cranford, 45, of South Fulton, was pronounced dead at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital at approximately 11:45 a.m.
 
Police have now charged Rollie Edmiaston Jr., 34, Sean Woodruff, 31, and his brother Jeff Woodruff, 26, all of Union City, with second degree murder and aggravated assault.  Other patrons at Pop a Top Bar told investigators the four men fought.  Police have not indicated what sparked the violence. 
 
Edmiaston and the Woodruff brothers remain jailed in Obion County.  They are scheduled to return to court Monday, Oct. 12.
