"I just wonder what happened. Where is she? What someone could have done to her?" said Phelicia Rodgers.  Rodgers' mother, Janie Lindsey, has been missing for five years.

According to investigators, Lindsey was last seen the Murphy USA gas station in Huntingdon on October 10, 2004.  According to investigators, Lindsey was with an unnamed man.  Her car was found days later just a few blocks from the gas station.

Phelicia Rodgers said there have been a few leads but no results in the five-year investigation.  Rodgers said, "My mom was my best friend, and I know she wouldn't have [gone] this long without calling. So I really don't feel like that she could be living anymore honestly. That's hard. That's really hard."

The Rodgers family wants closure.  They hope showing Lindsey's picture and telling her story can bring just that.  Rodgers said, "There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about it and just hope that somebody will call and just give me that one tidbit of information that might not be important to them, but might be really crucial to us."

If you have information that could help investigators find Janie Lindsey, call the Carroll County Sheriff's Department at (731) 986-8947 or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
