Child Neglect Charges

Dominique Cross,
24, of Whiteville, is charged with four counts
of attempted child neglect. According to
investigators, she left her two six-year-olds
and five-year-old along with her 10-year-old
nephew alone in the car early Sunday morning for
about two hours. Officers say she was visiting a
friend at the Park Ridge Apartments.
A Hardeman County
woman is behind bars in Jackson, after police
say she left four young children alone in her
car while temperatures dipped into the 30s.
Dominique Cross,

of attempted child neglect. According to
investigators, she left her two six-year-olds
and five-year-old along with her 10-year-old
nephew alone in the car early Sunday morning for
about two hours. Officers say she was visiting a
friend at the Park Ridge Apartments.
None of the
children were injured. Cross will face a judge
on the charges Tuesday morning.
The Department of
Children's Services is assisting with the
investigation.
