
Joe Sullivan
Anchor/Reporter
Joe Sullivan joined the ABC 7 News Team in September of 2011. He can be found every weekday morning anchoring Good Morning West Tennessee from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
In April of 2012 he was honored by The Jackson-Madison Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution for Excellence for Outstanding Broadcast Media.
Joe was born and raised in Rhode Island. He was a pitcher on his college baseball team. Joe graduated from Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts, located seven miles outside of Boston.
Following graduation Joe worked as a Production Assistant at ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut.
His first on-air job was as Sports Director at the NBC Affiliate in Yakima, Washington KNDO-TV.
While in Washington State Joe had the honor of Carrying the Olympic Torch prior to the Summer Olympics.
Joe moved to Richmond, Virginia and was Sports Director at WRLH-TV (FOX) and Sports Anchor/Reporter at WWBT-TV (NBC).
For the last three years Joe was the Broadcaster for the Virginia High School Basketball State Championship Games televised around the entire state of Virginia and Washington D.C.
In his free time Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling and rooting for the New England Patriots. His favorite movie is The Godfather.
