2007 Dodge Ram

Dodge's boldly styled, full-size pickup line is updated for 2007 with standard stain resistant/odor resistant, anti-static seat fabric incorporated into vehicles with cloth seats, E85/flex-fuel capability is now offered with the 4.7-liter V-8, and stability control has been added to the options list, in addition to remote start and new-design one-touch, three-blink turn signals. The Ram comes in light-duty 1500, and heavy-duty 2500 and 3500 versions, with a choice of regular and four-door Quad Cab body styles and ST, SLT, Laramie, and Sport trim lines. A four-door Mega Cab models boast the largest pickup passenger compartments available in the market. At 111 inches long, the Mega Cab offers plenty of room to seat six adult passengers and includes the first reclining rear seats available in a pickup. There's also about 7.6 cubic feet of covered storage behind the rear seats and a 24.9 square foot flat load floor; the rear seats also split-fold and move forward for added cargo flexibility. Light-duty Rams come standard with a 215-horsepower 3.7-liter V-6 engine and can be alternatively fitted with a 4.7-liter V-8 that produces 235 horses and 300 lb-ft of torque. Heavy-duty models offer a choice of a 345-horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 gasoline engine or a 5.9-liter Cummins turbodiesel V-8 that provides 460 lb-ft of torque. A Multi-Displacement System that shuts down half the cylinders to save fuel is standard with the 5.7-liter HEMI engine. A TRX4 Off-Road model features 17-inch wheels and off-road tires, painted monotube shocks, tow hooks, skid plates, and a limited-slip differential. A high-performance Ram SRT-10 edition offers a 500-horsepower version of the 8.3-liter V-10 engine that's also found in the Viper supercar. Power adjustable pedals, a navigation system, and DVD entertainment array are among the available options.
