Event Description

On November 3rd from 10 am til 1 pm, Alan Vines Automotive will join with parents and teachers at Pope Elementary for a fundraiser in support of Pope Elementary PTO.

During Pope Elementary’s Fall Fest, parents and guests will have an opportunity to earn a $10 contribution for the school from the Chrysler brand by test driving the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country. Everyone is invited to join the fun. Any licensed driver, age 18 or older, may drive and earn a $10 donation for Pope. There is no limit to the number of drives or Chrysler’s contribution. Alan Vines Automotive will provide minivans and insurance for the event, and volunteers from the dealership will be on hand to help out with the fundraising test drives.

“We love working with the school and really enjoy the opportunity to support the kids and showcase our product,” said Karen Lenard, Customer Relations Manager, of Alan Vines Automotive. “This year we are especially excited to show off the new, world class interior of the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country along with more than 40 standard safety, security and technology features.”

“Drive for the Kids fundraisers are a lot of fun,” continued Karen Lenard. “Everyone works together to help the kids. We hope to see you at Pope on November 3rd from 10-1.”

In 1993, Chrysler introduced Drive for the Kids and became the first automotive manufacturer to reach out in direct support of local schools. Since then Chrysler dealers have worked with parents and educators in communities across the nation, and Chrysler has contributed an estimated $3.5 million to schools located in communities where Chrysler and its dealers do business.
