Event Description

Thursday, Jan 17th, Yada Sisterhood kicks off 2013 with Women of Faith Conference speaker Allison Allen.
Yada Sisterhood is excited to welcome back Allison Allen, “a gifted writer, a brilliant dramatist, and a profound communicator of God’s truth.” Allen's passion is to bring scripture alive through drama.

“It would be easy to define Allison on the basis of her classical training and Broadway experience as an actress, the strength of her own creative writing or the amazing way she disappears into a character so completely," says Christian comedian Anita Renfro. "As true as those are, they cannot define what sets her apart from the rest—the simple fact that her passion to communicate and move her listeners flows out of something few possess: a pure heart."

Yada Sisterhood is 6:30-9 p.m. on January 17th in Hope Hall at Northside United Methodist Church, 2571 North Highland Ave. in Jackson. Yada Sisterhood is FREE and its motto is "Bring a dish – Bring a friend!"

Yada is open to all women. It is not about denomination, background, race, or color. It's about God and it's about women. As "sisters" in Christ, Yada Sisterhood desires to help women in West Tennessee link arms and spur each other onward into a more meaningful walk with Christ.

Reservations are available for groups of six or more by calling 731.439.YADA. Free childcare is also available for children 10 years of age and younger. To learn more about Allison, visit http://allisonallen.net; to learn about Yada Sisterhood, visit yadasisterhood.com.
