Event Description

Casey Jones Village is hosting "Casey Jones to the Rescue"' Saturday, October 26th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. It is a special event for area animal rescue groups to share information about their organization, raise funds and have pets/animals available to meet new families for possible adoption. This will be a free event for all participating rescue groups and will be free to the general public.

Event coordinator Angie Wilson said, "Casey Jones to the Rescue is an opportunity for rescue groups to educate our community about the great need for caring for homeless animals. We also want to thank those who tirelessly work to save and improve the lives of animals in need. Casey Jones Village has a goal of providing educational events that improve the quality of life in our community by offering fun, entertaining and informative activities in a family friendly atmosphere."

Information can be picked up at the Old Country Store gift shop, Deming Veterinary Clinic at 2173 Highway 70 East in Jackson and Tail Wagger'z at 1923 Emporium Drive in Jackson.
