Event Description

Through the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), parents participate in six hands-on, fun filled classes learning more about nutrition and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

• Label Reading
• Kid Friendly Recipes
• Exercise and Weight Control

Participants in the class receive recipes that are quick, easy and healthy along with other cooking supplies to get them started. Our classes are FREE and FREE SUPPLIES to Families, Single Parents, Expecting Parents and Teens.

The event will be held in the Jackson Room at the Casey Jones Homes and Railroad Museum. 30 Casey Jones Lane in Casey Jones Village. Two session will be offered. Tuesdays starting August 5, 2014 from 4:00-6:00 or Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 10:00-12:00.
