Event Description

Jackson, TN—On September 20th from 11 am til 2 pm, Alan Vines Automotive will join with parents and teachers at South Elementary for a fundraiser in support of South Elementary PTO.

During South Elementary’s Fall Fest, parents and guests will have an opportunity to earn a $10 contribution for the school from the Chrysler brand by test driving the new Chrysler Town & Country, 200 and 300. Everyone is invited to join the fun. Any licensed driver, age 18 or older, may drive and earn a $10 donation for South. There is no limit to the number of drives or Chrysler’s contribution. Alan Vines Automotive will provide vehicles and insurance for the event, and volunteers from the dealership will be on hand to help out with the fundraising test drives.

“We are looking forward to working with this school for the second year in a row. We’ve really enjoyed the opportunity to support the kids and showcase our products,” said Karen Lenard, Customer Relations Manager, of Alan Vines Automotive. “This year we are especially excited to show off the new Chrysler 200 and its technology features.”

“Drive for the Kids fundraisers are a lot of fun,” continued Karen Lenard. “Everyone works together to help the kids. We hope to see you at South on September 20th from 11-2.”

In 1993, Chrysler introduced Drive for the Kids and became the first automotive manufacturer to reach out in direct support of local schools. Since then Chrysler dealers have worked with parents and educators in communities across the nation, and Chrysler has contributed over $3.5 million to schools located in communities where Chrysler and its dealers do business.
