HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. - Learning in Kristina Doyle's classroom at Scott Hill Elementary School is always fun and something you do not want to miss.

"I tell them it's very important because if you miss one day we cover so much material and you will be behind. I motivate them to move up on the behavior chart if they are here everyday and we have games to play," said Doyle.

Doyle has always wanted to be an educator and says she takes her job seriously.

"I would say I want to be just like my teacher. That was my dream when I was little, I kept that dream of being like one of my teachers. I want my kids to love me like I loved everyone of my teachers," said Doyle.

Although they are young, she has high expectations for her second graders.

Doyle said everyday is fun but explains when it's time, "We put the pencil to the paper, we work hard everyday."

Pushing her students in their education everyday, Miss Doyle hopes it will prepare them for a bright future.

"Teaching them from right and wrong, and telling them they can be anything they want to be. It makes me proud because my kids they want to learn and want to be learning. I tell my kids all the time I want you to be the best second grade in this county," said Doyle.
