Liquor Store Burglarized in South Jackson

JACKSON Tenn.- Jackson Police are looking for thieves who broke into a liquor store on South Jackson early Saturday morning.

Police told 7 Eyewitness News a brick was thrown into the store's front window. The thieves did not take cash, just alcohol.

The managers of the store say the damage done inside was extensive.

"It hurts, because the owner is going through a tough time right now, and he is the sweetest man you'd ever meet," said manager Margret Johns. "It makes me angry because they came in and took his stuff and we were supposed to protect his stuff ."
