2 Bodies Found; T-B-I Issues Amber Alert
The FBI confirmed two bodies have been found in a home in Mississippi connected to Adam Mayes, the man suspected of kidnapping a Hardeman county mother and her three daughters.
The FBI would not release much information but did have agents set up a command post in Jackson outside the TBI headquarters. They would not say why.
Agents said they executed search warrants on the Mississippi home Friday; however, they have not released the identities or ages of the victims.
Mayes is believed to have cut his hair and changed it in an attempt to alter his appearance. Investigators said he was last seen on May 1st in Guntown, Mississippi.
An amber alert for Adrienne, Alexandria, and Kyliyah Bain was issued early Friday morning by the TBI. Adrienne is 14 years old. She's about 5 feet 4 inches tall, and 129 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Twelve year old Alexandria is about 5 feet tall, 105 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. And the youngest, Kyliyah, is 8 years old. She's about 4 feet tall weighing 57 pounds with blonde hair and brown eyes.
Agent said Mayes may have altered their hair length and color. The girls and their mother, Jo Ann Bain have not been seen since April 27th. The SUV they were in was recovered last Monday less than 3 miles from their Hardeman County Home.
Investigators said Mayes was a friend of the Bain family and was questioned shortly after their disappearance. He has not been seen since.
Authorities believe all of the victims are extreme danger. Arrest warrants have been issues for Mayes arrest for kidnapping. He's considered armed and dangerous. If you have seen Adam Mayes or any of the victims, or know where they can be found, call the TBI Hotline at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
