ARM Kicks Off Annual Christmas Store
JACKSON, Tenn. - Dozens of Jackson families are getting some Christmas relief with the help of Area Relief Ministries. Nearly 300 children will now have presents on Christmas morning.
The gifts are provided through "ARM," which provides relief to families in need in Jackson throughout the year.
Low-income families chosen through the United Way's Christmas Partners were invited to come pick up free toys for their kids starting on Monday.
"Every child that asks for a bike will get a bike. We're going to give away 250 bikes over the next three days. Each child will get five toys," said Lisa Peoples, Executive Director of ARM.
ARM's annual Christmas Store is being held at the Warehouse of Englewood Baptist Church. Families chosen to participate in this year's Christmas Store have already been pre-selected.
