GUYS, Tenn. - Keantinez Lloyd describes the last moments she spent with her dying brother. "He was positive. He told everyone he loved us and that everything was going to be okay and not to worry about him," she said.

Keantinez said the loss of her only brother is devastating but said thinking of her brother, Bryan brings a smile to her face. "He was compassionate, loving, I mean, funny. Anybody would love to be around him. He always had people laughing and smiling I mean he was a brother and friend to everybody," she said.

Just after 2 p.m., Saturday investigators said Bryan Irons, 16, and his 11-year-old passenger rode into the pathway of a pickup truck along Sticine Road, neither was wearing a helmet. The two people in the truck suffered minor injuries, along with Irons' passenger, Irons was the only one who did not survive.

Neighbor Deborah Patterson heard the crash and called 911. "I was standing outside saying 'bye' to my son and we just see kids riding through the cemetery like they usually do and he said 'mom they just got hit by that truck!' and I just took off running down there," she said.

Residents who live in the area said the cemetery Irons was riding in is usually packed with kids riding ATV's, but said it becomes dangerous because to get to the cemetery you have to cross a very busy road.

Dustin Wright lives next to the cemetery and ran to the scene of the crash. "They ride their four wheelers through the cemetery up and down the road. They've always been safe and this is just a tragic accident," he said.

The cemetery Irons was riding along is just feet from his home. The teen was on the road for only moments.

"All I can say is, he might have passed away, but he's still with us. No matter what the family still loves him," his sister said.

McNairy County Sheriff Guy Buck says ATVs on any roadway are illegal and said riders are also required by law to wear helmets.
