AWOL Marine Convicted in Attempted Burglary

JACKSON, Tenn.- An AWOL Marine from California was convicted Thursday in Madison County Circuit Court for charges related to a 2012 attempted home burglary and assault.
Caleb Dehoog, 22, was found guilty of attempted aggravated burglary two counts of aggravated assault and aggravated criminal trespassing.
He was also fined more than $14,000. He will remain in custody at the Madison County jail pending sentencing on June 17.
Dehoog faces two to four years for attempted aggravated burglary, three to six years for aggravated assault and up to 11 months and 29 days for aggravated criminal trespassing.
