UNIONVILLE, Tenn. - The search continues for two missing children, thought to have died in a house fire earlier this week.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a state-wide amber alert Friday for Chloie Leverette, 9, and her half-brother Gage Daniel, 7.

Investigators returned to the scene of the deadly house fire for the fifth day Friday, searching for their remains, but did not find anything.

Authorities are not sure if the two died in the fire.

Officials with the TBI said that agents will continue to "develop investigative leads," but were not searching the site of the fire Saturday.

Two bodies were recovered from the debris on Monday and were tentatively identified at Leon McClaran, 72, and his wife, Molli McClaran, 70.

Those bodies have been taken to the Nashville Medical Examiner's Office.
