Animal Cruelty Convict Back In Jail
WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. - A teen convicted of animal cruelty has found himself in hot water again.
According to court papers, Preston Odle was arrested last Saturday for possession of a weapon by a felon. Residents in Dresden were surprised to hear the news.
"I hope that someone is able to keep an eye on him. I mean, apparently he didn't mind breaking his probation so that he won't become a threat to the public," said Morgan Morrissett.
Odle and several other juveniles were arrested in the Weakley County while hunting for deer. According to the affidavit, Odle claims he was the driver not the shooter.
"I'm an animal lover and I understand that animals but they should not be mistreated like that by any means," said Morrissett.
Odle pleaded guilty for torturing and killing a St. Bernard puppy back in September because of that Odle is not allowed to have a gun.
Odle was also charged with contributing to a delinquency of a minor.
