HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn.-Henderson County deputies said when a box of checks was accidentally sent to the wrong address the man who received them decided to cash-in and got caught.

Cornelius Talley faces several counts of forgery. He was arrested this week at a bank branch at Parker's Crossroads when tellers became suspicious when he tried to cash a $500 check.

Deputies said Talley told them he was trying to get money together to pay his court fines.

Records from the Henderson County jail showed Talley had been released just 10 days before this latest incident.
