Beam Raised and Signed at New Transitional Care Facility

JACKSON, Tenn. - Celebrations were underway at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital as construction began on the new care facility.

Thursday, the beam on the new West Tennessee Transitional Care Facility was raised. It will be about three times the size of the current building. It will feature private rooms, a large dining area and a conference room for events and meetings.

The new facility is located on the campus of Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and is scheduled to open in 2013.
