Beech Bluff Man Killed in Weekend Crash

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. - A Beech Bluff man is dead after a Sunday morning crash.

According to the Madison County Sheriff's Department, Kirk Randall Ross, 39, was driving a Chevy pick-up truck when it crashed in the 700 block of Waynick Road just before 7:00 a.m.

Investigators said Ross' truck left the roadway and struck an embankment in a drainage ditch. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities believe speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the crash.

The investigation is continuing.
