Bolivar police investigating shooting, suspects sought

BOLIVAR, Tenn.-Bolivar police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured.

According to Bolivar Police Chief Pat Baker, it happened around 7 p.m. Friday evening in the 200 block of East Jefferson Street.

The chief told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News one person shot in the chest
while standing in a yard talking with people when a car drove by and a shot was heard.

Investigators said the suspect vehicle is a white, older model Dodge Stratus occupied by three black men and one woman. Chief Baker also said the man that was shot was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
