JACKSON, Tenn. - Bond has been set for the Jackson man charged with reckless endangerment, and possession of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.

On Saturday morning, a judge set a $20,000 bond for Steven Wilcox, Jr.

Jackson Police said they arresteed him after responding to several reports of gunfire in the area early Friday morning.

Officers said they were on foot searching the 1400 block of North Royal Street when they heard someone shooting a gun.

They said they later found Wilcox, who was under the influence of alcohol, and two other men with a number of semi-automatic handguns.

Authorities said Wilcox did not make a court appearance until Saturday, because he was under the influence Friday.
