Bond revoked for man at center of alleged murder plot

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. -- The man at the center of what deputies called a murder conspiracy involving his wife and her alleged ex-lover has been arrested again.

On Tuesday, investigators arrested Guy Biggs for a revocation of his prior bond after he was found at his wife, Joyce Biggs', home. A condition of Guy's bond was for him to not have any contact with Joyce.

Guy was out of jail on a $50,000 bond after deputies say he and Joyce created a plot to lure Jason Owen, Joyce's alleged ex-lover, into their Buchanan home to murder him.

In the midst of the struggle, investigators say Guy was shot in the chest. It is not clear who pulled the trigger on the gun, but deputies do not believe that it was Owen.

Biggs is charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit First Degree Murder and Filing False Reports.

Biggs was arrested and taken to the Henry County Jail on Tuesday. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 24 to answer to the bond revocation.
