BRADFORD, Tenn.- For Bradford residents, fall means the start of "Doodle Soup Days", named for the tasty dish which brings the community together in more ways than one.

The 14th annual "Doodle Soup Days" taking place through Saturday is presented by the Bradford Lions Club.

The soup takes about two days to prepare and all profits going towards helping fund community projects.

This year, Lions Club president Cathy Wheeler said they will buy a local family glasses they can not afford.

"Well,l it made me feel good cause I'd helped make all this come true and make his dream of being able to see again come true," said
Cathy Wheeler, Lions Club president.

Doodle Soup Days continues Saturday with a pancake breakfast at the Bradford Senior Citizens Center.
