Carroll County Man Charged with Manslaughter in Kentucky

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Kentucky- Police in Western Kentucky have charged a Carroll County, Tennessee man with murder.
Officials said James Cook, 55, of McLemoresville ran over a woman with a van. He is also charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and leaving the scene of an accident in connection with the death of Desiree Moore, 37.
According to investigators, Cook and Moore had been together in a van, but got into an argument that resulted in Moore getting out of the vehicle.
Cook is being held at the Calloway County, Kentucky jail.
