Cash Express Robbery Suspects Charged
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. – The Humboldt Police Department has released the identities of the two men arrested after allegedly robbing a local business and then crashing their vehicle while trying to escape police.
According to police, Quincy Dance, 27, of Humboldt, and Devon Gray, 22, of Jackson, are charged with aggravated robbery, theft of property, aggravated assault and felony evading in a vehicle. Bond for Dance was set at $130,000 and Gray's bond is $80,000. Both remain behind bars.
Police believe Dance and Gray entered the Cash Express on North Central Avenue around 4:30 p.m. Friday and robbed the business. Police officers in the area spread out along nearby roads and highways searching for the get-away vehicle and one officer spotted the suspects driving on Highway 187. After a short chase, the vehicle crashed and flipped. The pair was arrested at the wreck scene by Humboldt Police.
