HUMBOLDT, Tenn. - Humboldt Police are looking for the thieves who stole catalytic converters from a local church and business.

Police said they got calls from Cedar Hill Full Gospel Church, and HCI Supply on Friday and Saturday.

According to the report, the thieves sawed off a catalytic converter from the church's van, and stole two trash cans.

At HCI Supply, the manager there told police two catalytic converters were taken from two company vehicles, and their fence and door were damaged.

Officers said it is very likely the two cases are related since they are close to each other.

To keep from becoming a victim of this type of theft, investigators said to lock your vehicle inside a building if you plan to leave it for awhile.
