Chase Ends with Two Arrested, Accused of Theft from Jackson Walmart

JACKSON, Tenn.- Two people are jailed, accused of stealing a TV from the Walmart in south Jackson early this morning then leading police on a chase into the county.
Pautez Freeman, 33, and Rosalind Hayes, 37, are charged with felony theft. Freeman faces additional counts of evading and resisting arrest.
An employee alerted police of the two in the parking lot. Officers caught up with them along Highway 18 and finally got them stopped near the intersection of Denmark-Jackson Road and Smith Lane.
A K-9 helped track down freeman who ran into the woods.
They will make their first court appearance Tuesday morning.
