Chief of Police of the Year for West Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Trenton Police Chief Will Sanders has earned the respect of his peers throughout the state.

The Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police recently awarded him the group's Chief of Police of the Year Award for West Tennessee.

Sanders is a 36-year veteran of law enforcement, serving at all ranks in the Trenton Police Department before becoming a chief.

The award is based on a chief's ability to be progressive, innovative and professionally manage his department, as well as involvement in the community.
