Child Drowns in Savannah

Savannah police report a child drowned in her family's pool, Saturday.
According to a police report, 2-year-old Zaveon Suddeth was found by his mother in the pool.
The boy was reportedly in a room playing with friends. His mother had checked on him several times, but last time she checked on the children, he was missing. She told police she climbed on a ladder to look for him and saw him in the pool.
People on the scene as well as emergency workers attempted to revive Zaveon but were unsuccessful.
Police said that the Medical Examiner found no signs of foul play and the incident has been ruled an accidental drowning.
