JACKSON, Tenn.- A man charged in a shooting in Lincoln Courts is back in Jackson to face charges in the incident that injured two people.

Jackson Police said Clinton Berry, 24, is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. He was arrested in Paducah, Kentucky, August 3.

Investigators believe the 17-year-old boy who suffered a graze wound to the right side of his head in the July 30 shooting was Berry's intended target. Witnesses said Berry was chasing the teen when he shot him. However, the motive remains under investigation.

Officers said a 37-year-old woman who was caught in the crossfire was shot in the leg. Neither of the victims lived in Lincoln Court.s
