Community Helping Chester County Tornado Victims

Multiple homes in Chester County took a hard hit from last Thursday's tornado however they said their community is helping them get back on their feet.

One home in the Montezuma area has already been demolished, and two others will likely have to be in the near future.

Residents of those homes said the support from their neighbors has been constant since the tornado hit. Community members have helped with everything from clean up, cutting and removing trees, to providing meals. One man said his neighbors have even offered to help rebuild his home.

The families affected said they believe it is just one of the benefits of living in a small town.

"Everybody knows everybody, everybody worries about everybody, people stop what they're doing to help you," said victim Danny Wade.

Wade is living with family members until his home is rebuilt.
