Conduct of JPD Officer Under Investigation

JACKSON, Tenn.- WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News has learned Jackson Police are investigating one of their own for alleged misconduct while on the job.

According to the department, a patrol officer is accused of taking money from someone during a traffic stop.

The officer, who WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News is not naming because he has not been criminally charged nor disciplined by the department is currently off the job for an unrelated issue.

As soon as the department wraps up its investigation, WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News will release more information.
