TRENTON, Tenn.- A Trenton man has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for his role in masterminding a drug ring that spanned the Eastern United States.

Stephen Cook, 40, pleaded guilty to one charge of conspiracy in January. Investigators said he conspired to sell at least 1,000 kilos of marijuana and 500 grams of meth and recruited his own family and friends to help him.

There is no possibility of parole on the federal prison system.
