CROCKETT COUNTY Tenn. - A West Tennessee family lost their home in a weekend fire, according to the Gadsden fire department.

Joe and Lamar Pankey lived in their Gadsden home since 1992. The pair have two children and say they lost everything in the blaze.

"I just couldn't believe bad as it looks," said Joe Pankey.

The family said they were out of town when the fire started. A neighbor saw the flames and called 911.

"I'm just thank God there wasn't anyone in the house," said Lamar Pankey while holding her 11-month old son, Joshua.

The Pankey's told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News that they lost their baby's essentials, clothing, and precious memories.

"Pictures and just about everything...just wiped us out of everything," said Joe. "It's rough."

The Gadsden Fire Department said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
