JACKSON, Tenn.-Country music star and Hardin County native Darryl Worley played a private concert in Jackson, Tuesday night. But it was not just a concert. He and his friends, such as songwriters Jerry Salley and Jim "Moose" Brown were in town to raise money for the Darryl Worley Foundation. It is the kind of concert Worley said he definitely does not mind.
"To be able to come over and put on the show and that kind of stuff, it is a really cool thing but at the same time these people are coming out and they are giving from their hearts, so it's almost like a trade off," said country music artist Darryl Worley.
The Darryl Worley Foundation supports various groups such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
