Dice Run Raises Money for Lexington's Special Needs League

Lexington's Challenger League had its first baseball game of the season Saturday.

One local group of bikers wanted to make sure they will continue to have more. The Challenger League is made up of talented special needs athletes, and the league depends on donations to keep it up and running.

Some West Tennessee bikers held a Dice Run to help raise money for the athletes this weekend. Organizers of the league said they are grateful for the support.

"You know it is just heart warming to see these people come out and support these kids, when these kids wouldn't have a chance at this if they didn't do this," said Challenger League Director Janna Middleton.

This is the second year area bikers have hosted the fundraiser.
