Decatur Co. Dispatch: One Dead, Two Injured In Fire

Decatur County rescue personnel are investigating the cause of a fire that killed one volunteer firefighter and injured two others early Saturday morning.

Dispatchers got a call around 4:47 a.m. Saturday that there was a fire at Oak Hill Cafe on Highway 412 near Parsons.

They said one volunteer firefighter was killed trying to put out the flames, and two other firefighters were injured.

At last check, dispatchers did not know which fire department the firefighters were with.
