Executive director for Jackson Downtown Development resigns

JACKSON, Tenn.-Executive director of Jackson Downtown Development Corporation, Katie Pace announced Friday that she will be stepping down.
Pace has served in the position for the last five years. Pace has been responsible for bringing nine new businesses into downtown Jackson.
She said she is most proud of restoring the old Fox property to a pocket park for the public to use.
According to a news release, she is taking the opportunity to spend more time with her family. She will be assisting in finding her replacement.
