Jackson Police Still Not Releasing Sheriff Report
DOWNTOWN JACKSON -- Jackson police are still not releasing their report on the domestic disturbance involving Madison County Sheriff David Woolfork.
Officers say they are still investigating exactly what happened between Woolfork and deputy Sharon Sangster inside her home on Edenwood Drive, last Thursday night.
The sheriff has said in a statement they were discussing a previous personnel matter when Sangster stole his cell phones.
Sangster, under sworn statement in her protection order request, said the two had been in a relationship and she was rejecting his attempt to get back together when she called constable Frankie Lax for help.
