Bells, Tenn. - Police have arrested four former Snappy Mart Convenience Store workers in Bells.

According to police, the group tried to win big by stealing lottery tickets.

"It's been a three month investigation. The store manager had to go thru 30 days of video," said Roger Jenkins, Bells Chief of Police.

Latasha Cathey is charged with felony theft over $10,000. Cathey, Latricia Johnson, Jermaine Cottrell and Michelle Manns are all scheduled to appear in court Thursday.

All four posted bond and were released from the Crockett County Jail.

According to police, Cathey was the ring-leader in the thefts.

Jenkins said, "The one lady she had a lot to do with guiding the others. She would take off tickets hand it to some of the other employees. They would scratch off."

According to police, the four were caught after the store manager noticed a discrepancy with the cash register receipts.
