JACKSON, Tenn. – Improvements that would cost $200,000 are being requested by Pringles Park and the Jackson Generals.

The City Council is expected to vote on the proposal at their November meeting. The capital improvement request includes renovations for the box office and concession stands. Those improvements would add ticket and concessions windows.

Also requested is $43,500 to improve the lighting for the field. According to General Manager Jason Compton, the current lighting at the stadium is not up to MiLB standards and the funding would be used to bring lighting levels up to the required level.

The Jackson City Council is set to meet at 9:00 a.m. on November 6.
