JACKSON Tenn.- The Jackson Police Department is investigating a break-in at the BP gas station on Airways Blvd.

Store workers found a hole in one of the store's walls, and the wires to their security system cut when they arrived for work early Thursday morning.

Officials believe burglars ripped out an air conditioning unit, and used the small space to crawl inside.

"When they want to rob and steal they are going to get it. They are going to find a way to do it," said customer Linda Godwin.

Workers say the thieves got away with nearly $15,000 from the register and safe, and an unknown amount from an ATM.

Burglars also took the entire security system. Police say not having surveillance video has limited the details of their investigation.
