George Jones Remembered Through Sausage
JACKSON, Tenn.- A West Tennessee restaurant remembered George Jones by cooking the late country singer's recipe for sausage balls.
Brooks Shaw's Old Country Store made several batches of the sausage balls for customers to enjoy, on the house.
Jones shared the recipe with West Tennessee cook, Libby Murphy last year.
"It's Bisquick, it's sausage, cheese, and milk. It's so easy, and they are so good. I've had six or seven already," said restaurant owner Brooks Shaw.
Jones' funeral was held Thursday at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
